Because I wanted to make her talk to Edna and it was the only thing I could think to spark a convo~ pitfallen July 14 2008, 21:05:59 UTC

My own it seems. English is my third language, dahling.

I never even learned it. But thanks to unnamed plot devices I guess I speak it fine here, though.

This is how I speak, no matter my location dahling. I doubt the powers that be are strong enough to change that.

Still...

Russian? German? Canadian?

Actually, it almost sounds familiar... Except I'm thinking of a tall, German woman who managed a hotel and spouted off odd German parables for no reason. At least I THINK she was German...

I'm half Japanese and half German, dahling.

I don't doubt you, dahling. You know your heritage better than I.

Right. I mean, I work at a barber shop/salon thing, so I can certainly understand reasonable suspicion, but that's beside the point.

Oh? I had no idea you worked at a barber shop/salon, dahling. What position do you work?

Whatever's open. I usually just sweep and clean up, but I've had to work a chair every once in a while if the others are busy. Truth be told it's one skill I never expected to have to learn, but I've been getting the hang of it.

I'm more used to working a lot of part-time jobs, though.

[OOC: S'aright, sorry for the same, I got distracted.]

Yeah, it helps keep me busy. I don't really have much else to do.

I don't like being idle myself. There is just so much that can be getting done, while someone just idles away the day.
