OOC: Special Conmissions Questionaire
In the interest of keeping Edna's special projects organized and being able to keep information straight. I decided to create a general questionaire of things Edna would ask in a consultation. Now I am completely agreeable to playing out the consultations, but this is just to keep things organized and decide what can be known ICly. Plus I may have some basic knowledge of a superhero's costumes, but I am far from an expert and the less googling and wiki surfing I have to do the better. Please don't be worried about your answers being teal deer (too long didn't read), Edna likes teal deer answers. It helps to avoid infomodding and godmodding if things are spelled out from the beginning.
First of all, what are your character's canon abilities (note: if they have picked up abilities in-game please list those too) that they would be willing to tell Edna about? She designs the suits she makes to play to an individual's ability. So if you have fire abilities, she would attempt to create a non-flammable material that would protect the individual but would allow the fire ability to reach its full potential.
Secondly, what is the source of their powers? Were they born with said powers, was it an experiment gone awry? Do they gather strength from the elements? Animal, vegetable, or mineral? Do they know what can weaken them? Do they have any known weaknesses that could be exploited if not properly protected?
Is your character looking to hide his or hers identity? If so what sort of mask would interest them. One that covers the top half of the face, one that covers the lower half of the face or one that covers the entire face?
Would they be adverse to having Edna's assistants know their secret identities? Her current assistants that would be helping on special commissions, being Lucy fairytits and Alice Cullen psychicpixie. It is not absolutely necessary for them to know, but if you think your character wouldn't mind them knowing the basic identity, it would help Edna with getting your stuff done faster.
What colors, logos and basic designs are you looking to use for your character? If your character has a signature color or logo associated with them. Edna will want/need to know. Please know that she has a strict policy against capes on superheroes. Sorry folks it is canon. So if you have a hero that would like a cape, be prepared for them to get hit with a rolled up newspaper and lectured on the flaws of capes. When I say basic designs I mean how covered up would the character prefer? Full body or will they want some flesh being shown? Cause Edna prefers to make full bodysuits for better protection but these are commissions so there is room for compromise most definitely. Except with capes. Those are non-negotiable with Edna.
Will your character be working as a part of a team? If so will your character want to color coordinate or match with their teammates?
Does your character require any sort of gadgets? If so please list what they might need to aid them. E.G. Grappling hooks, communicators and tracking devices built into their suits, explosive devices and so on. Edna is not only a supersuit designer but a high-tech gadgetry person.
