hmmm.. i was listening to the radio, and they're talking about clearing out the djs for awhile, so we can just have the music we want playing. ....well, how do they know what we like? and if we do LIKE songs, isn't it to their own advantage because theyre the only damn chooser of the music on the airway? i mean the music selection out their is the most limited i've ever seen. unless the band has really established its self prior to a year and a half ago, or the record company has thrown a minimum of $500,000, you're not going to see them on the shelf.
its bad enough that we have to hear the same four songs a million times from artists that suck. but it goes too far when we can't get the music we want, when we do decide to buy something we want to hear. limited for the sole reason that someone decided this band just doesn't have the look or sound similar enough to something 'successful'. this jaded limitation is everywhere, you can';t go anywhere without it being in your face all the fucking time. and plus getting ahold of even a successful band who originate outside the u.s. is too damn hard. fat chance finding the full discography of the Cure in american stores... this just comes to say that ive gotten so sick of the cookie-cutter, copycat, constipated corporate bullshit.
im sorry . im done.
