Seems like a rather crap week for several people around here, myself included. If we ignore the fact that I should have gone to class but didn't, today has actually gone fairly well and had its share of pleasant things to perk me up. Not going to class allowed me to kick back and watch Ned Kelly (I had no idea Geoffrey Rush was in it - that made me happy) and disk 2 of An Evening With Kevin Smith (stupid Blockbuster sent me the second disk before the first). I thought Mewes was a random ugly woman on stage for a while before they zoomed in (after which I realized... he's kind of pretty with his hair up *cough*).
Other things that brought me happiness today (aka. a few RECS)
- gillen posted a comic that answers the question I know everyone has pondered at great lengths: What if John Hughes had directed Star Wars instead of George Lucas?
- theantimodel has posted the holy grail of Hayden and Ewan video clips. I have a serious hate-relationship with Jay Leno, but these were all still great. the Ewan interview is so far beyond great, it's fucking priceless.
- want to hear a BEAUTIFUL VOICE? of course you do! loony_moony has uploaded herself singing "En Sourdine" by Fauré. yes, it's opera but I don't care what kind of music you're normally into, give this a listen because it is amazing liek omg! they're not putting her straight into second year at Manhattan School for nothing (congratulations on that sweetie!)
- and finally for something actually HP related, frulie's just posted a quadrabble (I love that word) which is simply too hilarious for words. Birmingham, G rated gen featuring Harry and some OCs
