Okay, so today is Liam's 18th birthday and my parents gave him a 30 year old bottle of Irish whiskey. I didn't have a chance to write my rough draft for english that's due tomorrow, because Liam and his friends were all here and I had to become the babysitter. Also, I had been extremely dizzy all day; that is until I passed out for a brief nap after my parents got home.
So, we go out to dinner to celebrate, we come home and have cake and we open up the bottle of whiskey. I hardly had any. I took really small sips and even diluted it quite a bit with water. Now, you may be thinking, "[insert sarcasim] Right, she had a whole shot. That's hardly anything at all. [end sarcasim]" Well, I may have had only lowered the top by about a centimeter, at the most.
Well, I can feel the effects. I can tell that my thinking isn't entirely as straight as it usually is(as if it ever was straight to begin with). And, I am having just a wee bit of trouble typing. And guess what still has to be done. An entire rough draft about how Sophocles used images of light and dark, sight and blindness to emphasize a message. Or, something of that sort. (^^;
Actually, I'm thinking about changing the subject, but, I don't know. The topic options offered aren't exactly ones that I can work well with. I struggled with just writing a thesis statement. And in the end, it wasn't even really a thesis but, more like a topic sentance of some sort. So, I don't really know what I'm going to do.
Oh, and one more thing. I don't write rough drafts. They never do me a hint of good. Honestly, I write better without one. In fact, my rough drafts are more like me writing down some main ideas and key points, and figuring out how to order them in the paper. Unfortunately, that won't be good enough for tomorrow, which really really sucks.
Ah well, that's what I get. At least I feel like I'm sobering up a bit now. It's certainly a lot easier to type, now. (^^;;
