A dangerous sequence

Yesterday was a particularly bad day for women's right hind limbs.

At school, my daugher slipped and hit her knee. It was painful for a bit, but now seems ok.

At a party I attended that evening one friend sprained her ankle. Saw her walking today with a perceptible limp.

Another friend tore her achilles tendon. Doctors' verdict - 12 weeks in a cast.
(And I did have a feeling that dancing there was a bad idea...)

The same day, the mother of this friend was walking in West Country, fell from a cliff and broke her ankle. I can just imagine their conversation in the morning:
"Hi darling, you know, I've broken my ankle, the doctors put a cast for 6 weeks..."
"Well mom, wait until you hear my news..."

Finally, a colleague of mine fell from a bike and broke her hip. Recovery forecasts are so far unknown.

And I thought I was ever so careful in dosing my hallucinogenic mushrooms recently...
