Well that's done
All the London photos are now in and available here. I have barely more photos in the British Museum section than I do in the Highgate Cemetery section. But then, well, Highgate deserves to have a lot of pictures taken of it. It's simply incredible.
I was always charmed as little girl by the legend of Dick Whittington and his cat, so it was a thrill for me to run across a memorial to the cat while walking down the street to Archway to catch the bus. Below is the Whittington stone cat and our own London hostess, Miss P (who graciously consents to live with fjm). It just seemed right to put two great London cats together.
