In the past year, I have learned that
- I feel better when I sit up.
- Things are easier to do a little bit at a time.
- It is necessary for my sanity to give myself some time alone - if I am working, this may take more effort than otherwise.
- It is good to have clear ideas of when I am going to stop and start a project - especially ones that I find difficult to sit down and do.
- Women are really really really cool. (I knew that already, but that there are lots of people in the world being really really cool and radical and generally many years out of college)
- And we're really diverse, us women. Women are great.
- There are actually a lots of songs I relate to, that even make sense in relation to my lovelife.
- I am a radical feminist.
- Baking soda is a magical thing.
- I have something - quite a lot actually - to offer.
- I am really cool. Unique like everyone else.
- I agree with a number of ideologies. There is no need to follow any one in particular.
- I have to make my own way. I cannot follow one thing only and be honest to myself.
- I will always be on the outside of something, because I am no one else but me.
- Everything is workable, if I just look at it differently.
- Sometimes I don't know I need/ want something until I finally get it.
- When it is time to eat, it is time to eat. When it is time to ___, it is time to ___.
- It will be/ is hard, but there are lots of people like me in lots of ways, of lots of ages/ backgrounds/ ___, doing really really cool stuff.
- Humans are really fragile creatures.
- I like my body. I like living in this human, female, body. Right now, this life, I would have no other than what I happen to have.
In the past year, I have learned a little bit more about how to dance in/with the world and enjoy it.
