This was definitely not good. Robin was having a hard time getting his hands free from the crazy metal contraption holding them together above his head and the box was getting hotter. He could hear Heat Wave going on and on about fire outside the box as sweat started getting in his eyes. When the flames broke through the box walls and started licking at his feet and cape, Tim was thinking he was about to burn to death.
Then suddenly Heat Wave’s rant stopped. There was a yell of pain and before Robin could even blink, he was out of the box. A speedy blur quickly put out the fire. It solidified into Impulse right next to Tim. Robin glanced up to see Arrowette and Wonder Girl cuffing Heat Wave and suddenly his vision was blocked by a sculpted body covered in blue spandex.
”Too hot to handle, Rob? Of course I am, but how was the fire?” Kon asked as he tore the bindings off Robin’s arms.
“Shut up, Superboy.”.
