Happy New Year...and a survey to close off 2006
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Ran a half marathon...not only one, but two :)
Skydived! :)
Went to LAS VEGAS!
Kept the longest relationship Ive ever been in (YAY) <3 :)
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yup, ran a half marathon and got a sweet summer internship/contract!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Fortunately, no.
5. What countries did you visit?
Hrm, microsoft is sort of its own little country in itself...so there, i guess.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
TRAVEL, and perhaps just be more wise in some decisions. I'd love to have more wisdom as well. ;)
7. What date(s) from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 3rd = Whidbey 1/2.
June 2-5th = Disneyland craziness!
Aug. 26th- SKIDIVING!!!
Nov. 11 = Las Vegas surprise.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I know I keep saying this...but 1/2 marathons ;), and being a Rock Star :)
9. What was your biggest failure?
hrm...I dont linger on failure too much...so nothing too much comes to mind :)
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
Illness- Just a few colds...and as of 2 days ago my first fever I've had for about 3 years. :(
Injuries- ...noting too much....perhaps my "inflamed toe ligament" that was evil in Chelan
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Trip to Vegas!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Joshua's because he is just the cutest of cutes!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My "audio-know-it-all" "friend" (if you can call him a friend)...grah! I wont go any further :P
14. Where did most of your money go?
Eating out...like the poor college student I am!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
ROCK STAR!, Surprising people, and of course...JOSHUA! :D
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Im always happy (most of the time :P )
ii. thinner or fatter? fitter (hopefully)
iii. richer or poorer? richer
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Maya, maya....oh and maya...but considering I do that about 20 hours a week now and I did that probably twice that while taking the capstone class...how ironic that im sitting here wishing i did more of it?!
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
homework...though...cant really be helped (and the ironic thing is that i probably should have done more of it).
20. How did you spend Christmas?
In Olympia...I <3 christmas at home with my family.
21. What is one thing about 2006 you wish you could go back to and do over again?
I have two things:
Surpring Joshua for his 24th Las Vegas bday.
Having parents pay for my apt/ bills/ car while I make bank for "fun $" at microsoft! ;)
22. Did you fall in love in 2006?
I was already in love :) <3
23. How many one-night stands?
Um..none, and hopefully never any!
24. What was your favorite TV program?
ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA! :) but without being bias on this one... LOST
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I try not to hate people...but one audio "know-it-all" guy in particular that got on my nerves a bit, I wont mention any names here.
26. What was the best book you read?
To be technical: The bible :-P
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
So many...but I guess it would have to be Muse.
28. What did you want and get?
A CAR for my 21st bday!!!
29. What did you want and not get?
More time, I guess.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
The ones I make...of course :-P

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 21. I ran my first half marathon (my 21 run). Got a nice little brand new 2006 Nissan Sentra from my parents. Then got a fun surprise trip to Victoria Canada on the clipper from Joshua!
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Going more places (more trips). Running more, and not having to move out of my lovely 1 bdrm apt!
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Kind of preppy. A mix of JCrew, Victoria Secret, and American Eagle.
34. What kept you sane?
Joshua being so lovey and sweet and the perfect boyfriend a girl could ever ask for!
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Oh, that would be a tie between Tommy Le, Gilby Clark, and Jason Newstad. Heh, actually, I dont really know any one celebrity that I "fancy the most".
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Well, being in Seattle I should have a good liberal answer for that...but I try and keep myself pretty out of the political scene. It can get a bit riveting in conversations if you say the wrong thing.
37. Who did you miss?
...um...I get to see everyone I miss quite frequently, lucky mee! :)
38. Who was the best new person you met?
All my fun CS animation capstone friends! :)
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006:
Spend money on experiences rather then "things" ;)
