caller at lost with words
At work I always like to take notice of the funniest phone calls. This is going to be kind of like how Mandy will post about the quirks of the people in the computer labs on Eastern's campus, except phone calls are usually at most thirty seconds long to make an impact.
The caller's first response after I answered with my opening line, was amazed I was still here, granted it was after eleven, but we do not close until midnight. Then she had two questions, pretty much the same two everyone who calls wants to know; when is open bowling and how much, but it is just the way it was pharsed. "How much is it for a thing-ama-bob and when can we come tomorrow?" I gave the answers in the usually manner, but I had to resist from cracking up about her usuage of thing-ama-bob. She some how thought two.fifty sounded like three dollars and I corrected her, just so it was clear to her (hopefully).
I just plain thought this was funny. I needed a little laugh because I have been a bit cranky all evening.
