A few words on Doctor Who after I caught up with the entire revamped series
This summer, I had a mission: catching up with the entire revamped series of Doctor Who (meaning, from doctor n° 9 onward).
As of today, I can say that my mission has been fully accomplished and that I loved the series so much that I decided to buy a couple of Doctor who themed shirts from RedBubble.com. I'll even buy the DVD sets because this is ( Read more... )

About Martha, it's true that she got over her crush at the end but I wish she did it sooner... perhaps I would have appreciated her more (I liked her more when she came back in S4). You're right about Rose, she had a huge crush on the doctor too but, to me, the great difference was that the doctor loved her back while the way Ten treated Martha... I didn't like it too much most of the times. It's not that I don't like Martha, it's just that I liked the others best... I think she was really smart too and I loved when she stuck with the doctor in 1913 and didn't abandon him, though she was a servant insulted by everyone.
Actually, the way Rose treated Mickey at the beginning of the series reminded me of the way Amy treated Rory. I admit Amy has matured and her relationship with her boyfriend/husband has evolved a lot :) The same goes for Rose in my opinion, she did dump Mickey and was sincere about her feeling for him/the doctor.
About Donna, I think we have to agree on disagreeing since I thought she was the funniest of the doctor's companions. I also really liked the fact that she was brilliant, even if she thought so little of herself.
Yay for the Master indeed :D
And I forgot to mention but I like Rory as well! in fact, he's my favorite character in the 11 era :D
