The Renamer, Supernatural rubber ducks and Doctor Who

1) While I was looking for a program to rename multiple files, I stumbled upon The Renamer, a great program that automatically rename and organize your TV shows and Movies. As it says on their site (and I've tried it, it works!):

theRenamer renames your TV or Movie files into a neat and orderly format.....and adds in the TV show episodes titles!

From this: [vd-mux-ita]The.Unit.1x01.Piromane.ITA.DVDMux.[colombo-bt.org].avi
To this: The Unit.1x01.First Responders.avi
......... in just 1 simple Drag and Drop motion.
I know that there are several people who love TV-shows in my flist so maybe this can help you keeping organized your TV-shows folder without too much effort. You can download it here.

2) I'm sure pretty much everyone in the Supernatural fandom has heard of the Duck Nation movement (more info here if you haven't)... I've found a Canadian site that sells rubber ducks and couldn't resist sending one from the pirate set: it's the one with the red bandana and eye-patch in the second picture below: isn't it cute? :D

3) I've finished watching the first season of Doctor Who and now I have to start the second. I really liked Nine's exuberant personality but I was really curious to see Ten too since it's the favorite doctor of a lot of people. I've watched the two specials set before season 2 (Children in need and the Christmas special) and liked Ten's introduction so far.

I have to thank once again girlfmkitty because I would have been lost among all the special episodes and spinoffs if she hadn't helped me find the correct viewing order. Thanks girl, it's very much appreciated <3

Talking of spinoffs, I've found out that Torchwood is the spinoff of Doctor Who! Yeah, I know I'm a late comer but bear with me. I had heard of the series but I didn't know it originated from DW. I'm planning of catching up with it too, it's not so many episodes after all. Plus, Captain Jack, who I liked so far in the first season of DW, is the lead! Woo-hoo!

talking, supernatural, i'm a huge geek
