Despite the rain falling, you're smile split the clouds and shines warm on my skin.

Julie and I have been back from Sunny Califor-ni-a for almost a week now.

California was absolutely gorgeous, palm trees, warm sun and plenty of little shops to grab out attention. The entire time we were there Julie and I were simply at peace. Yes, we were running low on funds but we didn't seem to care to much. I wanted Julie to get a nice new skirt or something from Cali but again, we were low on funds. Oh well, maybe next time.

We talked to a few locals about places to live and they recommended some cheep apartments in some respectable areas of town. After going to California I knew I should have paid more attention in Spanish...all three years that is. Damn, my bad. Julie is pretty much fluent in French....yeah, no help there.

A few days into our stay we ventured to Santa Barbara to visit Brooks. God damn, that school is amazing! We only saw on campus out there but it is no wonder going there costs so damn much! The people there were friendly and the environment was beautiful. I can't wait. However I know that it will be a rough three years with school and work and all, but I think I'm ready. Ready to leave Maine that is.

So yes, we're back in Maine and struggling to get to California in three months. Crazy how fast time flies.

I think Sears is going to hire me, that would be awesome. 8 dollars an hour to do inventory. Not to shabby, better than nothing. Speaking of jobs, I quit Casco Variety and am still waiting for a pay check from LAST FRIDAY! GR! I've made it a point to visit the store every day just about to pick it up...of course it wasn't there. Today Julie and I took a trip to the store. When I called Maggie she was in a meeting and said she had called my house today but no one answered (lie). After no one answered she dropped it in the mail...meaning that I wont get the check until Monday because we all know that mail doesn't go out on Sundays! Blah...broke with bills to pay. Wonderful.

Sticky is a brilliant dog, we love him very much. He needs his heartworm medicine but we can't afford it because Maggie is a dumb.....yeah. The cell phone bill was due on Friday-- yeah about that being paid on time. Opps.

It's almost May and we have three months to get out lives in order for California...this means:

1.) Apartment that allows dogs
2.) Co-singer for a 30,000 dollar loan
3.) Jobs
4.) Car registration
5.) Uhaul to get across country

Not exactly in that order.

That's about it for now folks. It's time to clean this room up for an attempt to have some sort of organization in our lives.

I do feel I want to add just one more thing:
Julie Ouellette has been more than good for me and the life I plan on leading. I do believe that if it weren’t for her I would not be moving to California to pursue the dreams I have. I also feel that against what some may think, we will struggle but we will equally pull through. It hasn’t been long for us and yes, we're just getting started but I do believe she has given me more than one reason to be happy for consecutive days. As of now it's a challenge for her to put up with me just as it is for me to put up with her. I would like to extend a thank you from the deepest crevasses of my heart to the influential woman residing in the small but functional basement that we've made into a warm home.

The end.
