Very nice weekend!
Me, Mike & my parents went to Shenandoah national forest this weekend. They were hosting a "meet the chef" event with cooking classes & wine tasting. It was really cool! We got to learn a lot about the food & wine. We had lots of FANTASTIC food and some really good wine. A LOT of wine! We had a five course meal on the last night and they served a different glass of wine with each course. OMG! We sat with a really nice older couple (my guess was they were in their 70's). We talked, stuffed our faces and drank the whole evening. NICE! :-)
We went on a few little nature drives & walks and got to see some awesome wildlife...mom spotted a black bear and we took some pics. It was so cute! :-) He was just minding his own business, lookin for food. We just pulled the car over and snapped a few pics...he acted like we didn't exist. The deer we saw acted the same way...we didn't bother them and they just stood there posing for pics! Too cool!
Jake had a great time with his grandma & grandpa. He didn't want to come home! LOL! :-)
