Saturday's list.
I never did Saturday lists, even when I was still doing lists.
1. I'm kinda rather drunk, thanks to Hiedi who had already started on a mango juice/malibu rum concoction when I walked through the door around 4.
2. She's sleeping now, but has to go out in an hour to take photos of something at the Legion.
3. For Valentine's Day, I wrote up by hand a bunch of the stuff I've written about her all over the place (on LJ, in some private entries, by email to a few of you folks...) since this whole thing started. I'm pretty sure she'll melt when I give it to her.
4. I'll probably jinx it since I'm writing about it, but we have won three in a row! It used to be that I could only get into baseball games later in the season when my team was totally out of the running. For some reason, meaningless hockey game wins never gave me the same satisfaction as meaningless baseball game wins. The Sens are pretty much totally out of the running now, but I'm still able to get into these late season games. :)
5. We have a monitor. We have a modem. Now I just need to figure out how to hook this shit up downstairs, and I'll finally be back on my Mac Mini again.
6. I have more money in my bank account than I thought, so I'm feelin' pretty okay again.
7. We're not going to the Huskies game tonight because it turns out Hiedi doesn't have to cover it. But she does have to cover tomorrow's 2pm game so I'm going to that one!
8. The whole Omar Khadr situation continues to upset me greatly.
9. Lisa's away for the evening which means (Hiedi's words) "we can give 'er tonight" on our creaky bed. :D
10. Hockey Night in Canada with a 5pm start time is weeeeird.
11. Monday I'm going for a computer test at the hospital to get on their list of casuals, and also to drop my resume off at the school board where I've been assured there is a place for me as a French supply teacher. Those of you who've heard my French will surely find that laughable. But FSJ French is more laughable than me.
12. Everything - everything - in BC Liquor Stores is cheaper than it was in the SAQ.
