today was absolutely fantastisch. first, my english class, the ONLY class i have mon-wed-fri was cancelled today due to mysterious circumstances. wicked hot. sparky, leanne and i were going to the salon this afternoon but they keep fucking up and apparently couldnt do our stuff today after all. i was so excited to get my haircut so we called obrien's and i got it cut this afternoon. ahh delightful. i really like it a lot- and the girl who did it- rosa- she was really nice and cool and talked to me about spanish stuff since that's my double major.
later we watched a movie with the neighbors.
yesterday, i aced two midterms... i have a great feeling about both of them. holocaust studies and world lit. excellent. the best part of classes yesterday was women's studies... when we watched a movie on gender and KATE BORNSTEIN was in it!!! i was so fucking excited- i'm totally in the middle of gender outlaw right now and totally loving every single piece of it. then we had a semi-class discussion about TIC which also made me really happy because people in my class and my teacher are genuinely excited about it. that was cool.
