People on DA sometimes share the best possible memes. They may seem simple, but then again they force you to create something that otherwise, you wouldn't have thought about. Obviously, I use such memes as my own indulgence and training. Using my own characters as victims.
Introducing, Nash. He's a bass player in my imaginary band CoR, I love drawing his frekles.
As a kid, he was unhappy, due to having no friends. Children are cruel, especially to chubby kids. If those kids also happen to have red hair and frekles, then it's almost guaranteed that they'd be made fun of and totally ignored. So, not exactly pleasant childhood. But it all depends on one's personality how your future life looks like. When he reached his teens, he gritted his teeth and decided to do things his own way, not minding if someone had problems with his hair or skin. He was still chubby and short, but it turned out he was skilled in certain areas, enough to be considered useful, sometimes even good. Or dangerous. In the meantime, a small circle of friends started to gather and he wasn't as isolated anymore.
Nash is a schemer. He also grew up to be quite confident, even narcistic. Not without reason, when he grew out of his chubbiness, he was considered quite handsome, despite his red hair, frekles and short posture. He likes to dress nicely, is ridiculously good at cards, he's addicted to lollipops. His mind is frightening.
It's a little uncomfortable for me to post it, because I know that my characters aren't interesting. They're simple kids, their story is simple as well. I've always had trouble with creativity and sharing something that I've developed in my head is embarrasing. Then again, you all are experienced creators so you can always give me tips, how to make them interesting :DD
