Oh me…
The lyrics I posted last night are from a familiar rolling stones song, Wild horses.
Every time I hear a certain version of this song it breaks my heart. This song to me is a love ballad, singing of someone who has lost the love of there life.
I have no clue why but I have been playing is continuously.
I am going to buy an acoustic and take lessons. I am looking at an ovation.
I would really love to be able to play and sing this song within the next year. Not sure where I am going to take lessons yet but I am going to and that is the point/
Who knows I may have a gift for it, I know that it will not be easy but I think it will be worth it. I also want to learn a collection of songs but that is the first one I want to learn.
Hell it will be a talent to add to my portfolio. It has been a long time dream of mine to learn to play one. And I figure if I spend my money on one then I will be more apt to actually learn and practice, hell I have 8 hours of nothing else to do why not hone a talent.
I guess if there is no use to working the pitch doing escapes like this past weekend I could go down the street to play for a few hours and make some money anyway.
I am also looking at the possibility of doing a human statue for the off season, thinking either toy soldier or Santa. This way I could still make some money up there. Human statue is a lot harder then what I do now. But I think it would be fun. If I do toy soldier I would have to learn to spin a rifle. But I am kind of digging the thought of Santa.
In the off time I can also work on adding fire to my show. Nothing draws a crowd like fire and escapes. I have toyed, (No pun intended) with the thought of doing the soldier on stilts. A stilt walking soldier would be so fun.
Any way head clouded so I am off to work.
