The day of love and romance is fast approaching, and I find myself without a valentine once again. With the absence of someone on which to waste excess amounts of attention, my mind is free to think. Why, pray tell, is it necessary to devote an entire day to love? If people are in love, isn't everyday St. Valentine's Day for them? All St. Valentine's Day does is point out who is alone. Thus, on the 14th, I shall not be celebrating St. Valentine's Day. Instead, I shall be celebrating Singles Awareness Day. I shall also be wishing everyone a happy SAD, unless, of course, I see a happy couple, in which case I'll probably just say, "Eat shit and die, fuckers."
