Third world democracy, I got more records than the KGB, so uh...no funny business.

what an incredibly fulfilling night!

I mean...if I were to create an analogy for how I would like my life to be, it wouldn't be too far from "serving dinner with friends to underprivileged families for a birthday party, followed by fabulous M.I.A. concert/dance party and dancing on stage, also with friends."

ummm what else is going down.

I'm waiting to hear from Wesleyan on December 15th, though I'll be in Indiana at my aunt's wedding at the time.

I had a talk with my guidance counselor for the first time ever today!

I really enjoyed reading The Stranger by Albert Camus for English. I am afraid that Mr. Koup has very little respect for me now, though, since I'm not too good at handing essays in on time ever or, frankly, showing up to his class as much as I should.

I got pulled over for the first time tonight. Apparently one can't drive in the left lane of the highway. Apparently also I need to have my vehicle inspected. Apparently also I'm not supposed to drive with my dome light on. Or forget my license. I also drove through the fast lane without a fast lane pass, but if I have to pay a fucking $50 or $100 fine just for accidentally forgetting to take my toll ticket (I paid the toll anyways) there is going to be much drama with the state of Massachusetts. But I guess I should count my blessings that the statie who pulled me over didn't cite me for any of the 3485456 things he could have.

Ski season officially starts this week, since we have our first dryland practices.  can't wait to try out my new skis.

I have made a vow to myself to attend as many classes as possible second term. It's just always soooo tempting to somehow get around going to class if I can, but I'm probably just going to get in trouble eventually. Let's say I had about 20 unofficial cuts first term, including personal health days. Second term I will shoot for five maybe. Not including personal health days.

And it's really terrible that sad things of this magnitude have to happen to such good, sweet people, and I hope that crazy girl gets well soon.

yeah yeah that's all.
