Thursday:
I packed! And then Phi, Jack and Rene came to pick me up, and we all realized the magnitude of what we would have to accomplish; after we picked up Pekkle, we would need to fit five people and four suitcases and a dufflebag into Phi's Camry. And three keyblades. And Pekkle's giant Aoshi sword. And assorted other things, like backbacks and computers and bags full of fabric. All this stuffed into a five-person car for seven fun-filled hours on the drive down to LA! Hurray!!
At least we're all really thin?
Soooo we got to LA, after seven hours of Jack singing, Rene being an emotional wreck thanks to Pekkle, and all of us nearly being smooshed by giant trucks trying to pass up other giant trucks on a two-lane freeway. We checked in, (one of the guys on the Hilton staff complimented the keyblades o_o Good job you guys!! =D), and then went to pick up Kix. Then we went to Carl's Junior and got our first glimpse of the scary otaku that we'd be seeing for the rest of the weekend! Yay. And THEN I worked on finishing Chris Lightfellow until 5 or 6am, at which point I decided I was finished and dropped dead. =P But not without the random porn that Kix found when we were watching TV! @_@ It was like, SERIOUS ass rubbing! MY EYES!! ;_; I think it was HBO. I was traumatized. We all were.
And by this point, I had had more than enough of "Ice Ice Baby". I can't think about AX04 without a Vanilla Ice making an appearance anymore. >_<
Friday:
Got up at 9am. Somehow. I dressed up in Lisa Hawkeye and went with Kix to get Starbucks down in the Hilton lobby and saw another Hawkeye there! =D
And then we grabbed Jack who had just finished registering (in the not-pre-registered line! O_O) and went and tried to get registered! Where we waited. In the same spot. For 3. Hours.
Doesn't it look like we're having fun? >_> I think Jack started going crazy.
(OMG, he's totally going to kill me for putting that up! XD)
By the time we got out of registration, it was already like, 3pm. The Full Metal Alchemist gathering was at 4pm. So I went back to the room, made some quick repairs to Hawkeye, and went off the the FMA gathering, where I got a crapload of pictures! If you want to see them, I'll list them at the end. @_@ After that I went to the Funimation booth and played the FMA PS2 game for a while! ♥ It felt a lot like Kingdom Hearts in terms of the playing style. I WANNA PLAY IT~~ ;_; But yeah! I was about to buy some useless crap in the Dealer's Hall when someone tapped me on the should and was like, I need an FMA cosplayer for a scavenger hunt. Would you mind helping me out? And I was like, uh, sure. And thus I was saved from wasting my money! Thank you, person! =D
Got a call from Rene to eat pizza! At which point I realized I hadn't eaten anything but a white mocha espresso the entire day. So I went back, and KARRIE was there!! =D Yay!! We didn't get to talk long, but it was fun! =D Jack made me eat two slices of pizza. XD; I wasn't hungry~~ But it's a good thing I did eat. Then we went to the AMV contest, which was...really boring. Highlights were the Rock Lee vs. Gaara AMV (I loved it soo much! Go Lee!! ^0^), the X TV AMV, the Naruto/Aladdin AMV, the Strongbad/Azumanga Daioh AMV (Robots! Dancing Robots!), and a Kingdom Hearts/My Heart will go Ooonnn AMV that made me all embarrassingly sappy. =P So yeah. Left. Got another picture of myself~ I'm so vain! And I looked so crappy by the end of the day! XD;
Then I Went back to the room to finish up Chris, and
then I went to bed. @_@
Saturday:
Got up. Took shower. Put on Chris Lightfellow costume.
Oohed and ahhed over Rene, Pekkle, and Phi as 'Blondie', Unknown, and KH2 Sora.

But yeah, wearing Chris was TOTALLY killing my feet. @_@ I'm really not used to heels. And the boots were drooping, because I never really had a chance to finish them... So I decided to change out. I was really happy with how many people recognized me though, especially since I wore it for less than 3 hours! I didn't think anyone would recognize me at all, but a lot of people stopped me and asked for my picture, or just stopped me to talk about Suikoden. ^_^ Yay! I'm going to fix a few things by the next con, mostly with the boots... But yeah! Went to change into KH Yuffie, and then went to the Dealer's Hall to get a present for my sister and go shopping for myself. =P
Then when I was looking for everyone else, the WEIRDEST thing happened! I was walking, and this guy in a red costume with a cape and a mask (i think maybe he was a red mage?) sort of tried to catch my eye, and then walked up to me. I was kinda like, huh? and just stood there. And then he said "Oh, Yuffie. My final fantasy has come true!" And then he hugged me. o_O It was more of a 'huh' moment than a 'omgwtf' moment, because he wasn't smelly or gross and he didn't try to cop a feel. And he said 'thank you' afterwards. But I was totally 'huh' for the next ten minutes. XD;
Anyways, I found everybody Chris listening to Ramen and Rice, so I sat down with them and listened too. Dude, they are SO AWESOME. Listening to them makes me want to take up an instrument again... But yeah! I loved all their renditions of FMA songs, and the Smash Brothers medley was tons of fun! =D And then they played Simple and Clean, and I was happy. ^_^ I wish I had had more money to put in the violin case, but I had spent too much of it in the Dealer's Hall. ;_; And I feel bad because I didn't actually introduce myself! And they were so nice! But they were busy playing, so it felt it would have been out of place. Especially with the crowd. @_@ But yeah, I'm so glad I finally got a chance to really sit down and listen to them! =D
Then when Phi, Rene and I went to pick up pizza, we picked up a party! =D Chris, Won, Kimmie, and...Natalie and Sid? Crap, I don't remember their names! ;_; But it was nice to meet all of you! =D But yeah! We were waiting for pizza, and took this lovely picture:

and ate pizza and watched Gargoyles! =P Oh, and we're all equal opportunity racists! It was fun talking with everyone! =D And I finally changed out of costume for the last time and became a normally dressed person again. =P
Eventually the party left the room, and Cici arrived with her Kairi costume! =D
Cici looked AMAZING. O_O Perfect. To the last stitch. I was FLOORED. Unfortunately, the one picture I managed to take of her (above) was awful! So blurry! ;_; Oh well... We walked around some, then went back to the room and packed. I fell asleep with my streetclothes still on while watching The Practice. ^^; I guess I was really tired...
Sunday:
I woke up. Went to get iced white mocha at Starbucks with Kix. Packed the last of my stuff. We watched and MST3Ked an episode of Buffy. =D Lots of stupid people having sex! Only Willow is smart and didn't have sex, and her smartness is probably why she became a lesbian. =P But yeah! Helped Phi finish Syaoran.
SO. AWESOME. Went with her to costume judging. Then came back to the hotel room, at which point I realized that my plane flight was at 6:10 and not 7:10. O_O EMERGENCY!!! So I had to rush off without saying goodbye to everyone. ;_; (KIIXXX!!! I love youuu~~) At least I got to go see Karrie and iPlay before I left! But they kicked us out because we were being distracting. =P Then I was off to the airport, and home, and homework again. ;_; Wahhh....
