(no subject)
Fanime yesterday was fun!! I got to see sooo many people--Phi Rene Jen Michelle, and I got to hang around with Ami all day which was extra awesome, because I was in my Full Metal Alchemist Hawkeye costume that I finally finished, and she was an ultra hot Lust! <3 I met and got a chance to talk with a bunch of other cool people too, which is always the best thing about cons~ The people who are especially awesome are the ones that have no connection to you otherwise that come talk to you because of your costume! There are lots of FMA fans out there~ <3 As soon as I have some pictures I'll put them up!
Unfortunately, I woke up this morning and realized I felt like crap--today decided to be Uber! menstruation day, which is fully capable of making me into a puddle of boneless, agonized goo even when I'm not exhausted after running around a con all day the day before, AND getting next to no sleep for a week before that getting a costume done. (I have lots of repairs to make to that costume... >_< Like, the belt? FELL OFF. have to remake! And I want a puppy by AX! <3) But yeah, I decided it was probably better if I stayed home curled up into a little ball of misery than spreading my misery around to anyone who would listen to me. I'm not good company in this state. =P But I hope everyone has fun~~
Oh! And Rene, if you still want my leftover fabric...I THINK there's enough to make another one out of what I have. I had 10 yards to begin with, and there's I think a little less than 4 continuous yards left, with a bunch of largish extra pieces. And I double layered the jacket, which really isn't totally necessary; I also wasted a lot of fabric making the pants and the coat-tail thing, because I didn't bother to make a pattern first. =P I think you could do it, if you're careful about how you use the fabric. =D I also have a bunch of extra cording, buttons of various sizes for the various places buttons are used, and other stuff. What I don't have any more of is silver trim, but I can give you a swatch of what I had so you have an idea of what color I used; I can also tell you the fabric I used is still in the back corner of the bargain section in the Cupertino Joann's. :) which...i need to get more of. But yeah! If you want it, I can give it all to you; if you want, I can lend you my costume so you can take a look at how I did the pattern (and see all the places where I screwed up! XD;) So if you want it, I'd be happy to give/lend it all to you. ^_^
Lisa is getting woozy, so Lisa is going to go take her second nap of the day. I hate being female sometimes. Boo.
