(no subject)
I know I'm behind the times thanks to my 3 week unannounced hiatus, but...Tales of the Abyss TV series? woohoo!! I mean, I'm still not expecting much of it...according to Wikipedia, same writer as Kyo Kara Maoh and Get Backers? I did enjoy those shows, but they're not exactly the best written shows ever; and SUNRISE? that could be very interesting. At least it's not Beetrain. But anyway, a TV series has better potential to do justice to the story than an OVA (poor Symphonia and Phantasia! they're nice, pretty OVA's, but if you weren't already a fan you'd just be confused), and though the character designs are sort of 'meh' for me, I don't think I'll care that much because when they're animated, they look pretty fun. (Guy freaking out in the trailer above is pretty hilarious XD) In any case, I'm looking forward to the fall!!
Also, I think I'm finally getting myself a DS! It seemed like everyone else had one but me. And I was borrowing a DS from my best friend's MOTHER. How sad is that!? So I'm thinking I'll go buy a metallic rose DS lite the next chance I get, especially since I got some unexpected windfall. *thumbs up* What are some good games to get for the DS? I know I want to get The World Ends With You (I want to get to Another Day and actually, you know, play through the game at a leisurely pace this time), but I've totally forgotten all the other games that were good on the DS.
woo, it's really really nice to have a chance to relax again!! Though I'm not really relaxing since I'm actually cleaning the house and studying my USMLE book (orz) but doing it voluntarily is SO much different than doing it because I have to and I'm on a deadline! ♥
