I was just about to make a post about having fam on FB...I consider my brother's GF like a sister so it took me awhile to decide how comfy I was in adding her because even though we talk I don't feel the same with her as I would with you or Tari.

My mama asked me the other day exactly what was twitter, we was watching suze orman and Suze mentioned that she does her own tweets.

Yeah, adding my niece was easy. And even adding my brother was easier in comparison than adding my older cousins. lol I might not have added them were it not for my brother adding them. And it took me a minute to add him! lol

I already feel like FB is not quite "safe" anymore. lol But I refuse to change because they are my "fb friends."

I think I am seeing more racism in the world, BTW, but I answered no because though I'm seeing more of it I believe that's only due to the amount of media spam our every day lives consist of now. This shit has always gone on, we just didn't hear about it.

I should add a summary to my resume' with a simple statement of I'm ill.

My resume' seems to break a lot of resume' rules but I stay getting hired sooooo.....

And I'm startin' to get real, real mad about all these relatives on facebook. Like, I don't even want to get on it anymore now. They are like the annoying of the annoying on facebook too. Want to fill out every survey...want to take every quiz. The fuck am I supposed to do with this "hood gifts" bottle of vaseline? Get a damn job!

But I can't not add them because that would be rude

I got some advice that I should not have an objective. I have both that and a summary. I read that you shouldn't have both and that the objective is pointless anyway. So I think I might remove it, but it makes my resume flow perfectly so that all positions fit evenly and uniformly on the page they start. I hate that trailing over to the other page mess.

Most of the pain of updating my resume comes in trying to keep it condensed to one page. If I had more impressive memberships and education info I would feel totally justified in making it 2 pages. I do have a 2-page version that I take to interviews though.

Basically I only list 5/25 jobs, depending on the position I'm applying for, LOL

I remember I had two versions a while back. One for customer service positions and one for social service positions. I do not miss that time of my life.

I think I see the subtler aspects of racism more clearly-- the denials, the so-called "dog-whistles"-- that kind of thing.

I'm not sure how I feel about the term, but basically, the stuff that folks affected can hear, but that flies under the radar of those who are not affected. Coded language, that kind of thing. Like the words "sassy" or "uppity," just for example.
