eBay Madness

OMFG. I am about to fuckin explode!!!

Ok, so I bought a printer from Target. The shit nicely came with everything except the USB cord to connect it to my computer. That was actually not that bad 'cause I happen to have a USB cord that fits. So I used that and the printer works, but only partially. It's a printer/scanner/copier. It prints, copies, but doesn't scan. I tried everything before figuring that it might be the fact that the cord is not necessarily for that machine. So I figured out which cord would work best and found someone selling it on eBay. I bought it and the seller sent me a UPS tracking number. So I'm expecting it and checking the online tracking system like once a day. Last Friday I check and it says that the package is delivered.  So I called UPS and they're all "oh we delivered it to blahblahblah." "Blahblahblah" being a totally random building not even on the same block as mine. I still have no idea if that was UPS' fuck up or if the seller put the wrong address on. I won't even go into the drama UPS put me through before teling me to contact the seller and have THEM have the package traced.

So I e-mail the seller through eBay letting them know what happened, telling them they can contact UPS since UPS is liable to them not me and requesting they send a "replacement" item to my actual address.

No response.

I e-mail them again through eBay telling them to reply by 5pm yesterday or I'd file a claim through paypal.

No response.

So I filed the claim through paypal and suddenly they can respond! But the response is seriously enough to make me want to choke someone.

The item was sent to the wrong address. The UPS tracking number (1Z 183 681 03 8473 970 0) that was sent to me states it was delivered. The UPS rep I spoke with said it was sent to _________, but my address is ___________ (and this is my confirmed PayPal address). I have already sent two e-mails about this matter requesting response and resolution. UPS states that only the seller can request a tracing of a package. So Teckwave can call them and have UPS held responsible for their end. In the meanwhile I can be sent the part to my correct address.

DON'T HOLD ME BACK! DON'T HOLD ME BACK!!!!

Did this muthafucka just ORDER me to FETCH the package!!?? Am I a dog? Do I work for this asshole? Did the fool have the nerve to say "thanks?" I am burning UP!!

It is not my job to retrieve packages. I am not a courier nor do I work for UPS. Even if I were to decide to retrieve the package I have no idea who the actual receiver is nor how they might respond to me showing up on their door asking for a package that was delivered to their address. I've never made a habit of knocking on the doors of people I've never met and I don't intend to start now. That is not responsibility. Again, if you contact UPS, you can have them attempt to retrieve the package, as that is in their capacity and that is what they get paid for. That is their obligation to you. While you are doing this, you can send me the part to my correct address.

After that if the mofo still wanna be slick, I'll just forward the issue to claims and request a refund.

What the fuck?
