Thinking about Dani's entry and this ep of Girlfriends I saw a while back... I had a VERY strong reaction to that episode. The girls were out, wind up getting in some big group fight outside the club and Joan just... stood there. To me this is huge. How do you NOT have your friends' backs?? That heavily depends on the particular friend(s) and situation. I forgive my best friends for just about anything.
