So I missed the first debate, caught a fair amount of the second and watched the entire vice president debate. Where to start. Where to start.

Questions should've been repeated. Because if I ask you how many beans are in your pocket and you tell me your feet itch and you think you have a fungus, I still don't know how many damn beans are in your pocket!!!! Can we answer questions? Or at least partially answer question? Shit. One of the last questions asked in the second debate was a lady asking George what THREE mistakes he made and how he attempted to ameliorate them. He responded by saying "going to war was not a mistake." Hmmm that's funny because I don't recall her asking you if going to war was a mistake. Nor did she ask what things you did that weren't mistakes. She asked you to name THREE mistakes and you didn't name ONE. Is it a counting problem? Is it a comprehension problem? What's the deal?! They gotta start calling folks out on this stuff. Damn that. "Mr President, that was nice, but can you try actually answering the question this time? I'll give you a freebie do-over. Do you need me to repeat the question? Write it out on index cards for you? WHAT?"

Edwards reply to the question about gay marriage made me nauseous. He ultimately said "Gay people deserve their rights.... just keep that shit away from me! Oh and the vice president was nice to his daughter." =/ And I figured Cheney would do no better but when all he said in reply was "thank you" I cracked up. But I guess that's his "nice" (we can add that to the list with funny, Mike) way of sating those who "disagree" with homosexuality while maintaining the support of liberals.

All black republicans need to be shot. Cheney says he is not aware of how the AIDS epidemic is affecting black women and you're gonna vote for him?? You KNOW if it were affecting white men or even white women as it's affecting us he would be WELL aware. You're supporting someone who has no concern with your well-being. Not that Democrats are that much better, but goodness....

Bush kept spouting off about 1.9 million jobs being created. WHERE? Indonesia? Taiwan? Where? I wanna see the documents on this. Because if 1.9 million jobs were created how come so many people continue to be jobless? How come our economy is so shitty if all of these opportunities are there? When is the trickle down effect gonna trickle down to my ass? And if you answer by talking about your foot fungus, it's gon be me and you.

Individually: Cheney was staunchy, ridiculous and stretching the truth beyond any kinda reason. Kerry was decisive (an obvious "tactic" since everyone's been calling him "flipfloppy"), repetitive (you have a plan. I got it) and stern. Edwards was calm, unnerving at times yet gave answers that made sense and seem progressive (at least in nature) and helpful. Bush was.... even more repetitive than Kerry, much more unnerving than Edwards, in denial, jittery and STILL mispronounced the word nuclear! Your biggest concern is a word you can't even pronounce? You are surrounded by some of the most intelligent people in the government and no one has taught you how to say Nuclear?? Condi can't pull him aside and spell the shit out phonetically or nothin? Colin couldn't sound the shit out for him at all?

I'm so uninspired.
