Computer Talk

So a routine of mine lately has been to go to (one of the random) comp lab(s) after Stats to check my e-mail and maybe check LJ before going to the gym (sidenote:Been working out pretty regularly [4-5 times a week, hello!] and still have not seen any results.[aside from being able to do a lot more push ups and in better form] I want at least the past three weeks worth of money back). Today I went and the person who'd used the comp before me left the window for the floppy A drive open. So me being the nosy one, I checked it and saw a lot of word documents. About 4 or 5 of them had titles that were related to Ebonics. Like "Black Vernacular," "Understanding Ebonics" or something like that. And me being the fool attempted to open the document..... =/

The computer was like "Ummm.... I know you know there's no disk in the A drive so why are you even attempting to open files from that drive with nothing in there? You wanna actually slide a disk in there, Slick?" And I said "Don't you think if I had the disk, I'd put it in there?? Can't you help me out here?" And he (how do I know it's a he? 'Cause this is my craziness and I say so) says, "Help you out? I dunno what type of business you think I'm runnin here, toots, but I can only show things for you. I can't write a paper on Ebonics myself. Somebody done told you wrong." And I replied "Oh you can say 'somebody done told you wrong,' but you can't pull out this one file? And why can't you just remember the thing? It was inside you! I keep a good record of all things that go inside me!" Then I just walked off 'cause I like having the last word.

I'm embarrassed at how much I watch that show called The Swan. It's horrible. All of these "makeover" shows are, but at least this one gives therapy along with the extreme cosmetic surgery.

I'd really like all of the people who worked on and/or financed Soul Plane to be lined up and shot. *sniff* I'll miss Richard T Jones, but if he has to be the first sacrifice in the Revolution, so be it.

ranty rant rant, revolution, aave
