So, yeah I finally got to sit down and talk things through with the Link. He's so past easygoing it's not even funny. I gave him the contract, but it was more of a "hey look. this is what's been on my mind" type deal. I just told him what I want from him and was clear and persistent about him "doing better." So far, so good. But I'll see over the past few weeks if he continues. Against my initial wishes, I gave him the part of his b-day gift I've bought so far. The Wood and Menace II Society. I just would've been mad at myself if I let him buy them knowing I'd already bought them. And this was like the millionth time he mentioned wanting to buy them. He was very happy with them and tried to tell me it was enough. blah blah blah. Yes, Hux, I took it down. lol And I asked for one. He forgot it at home. =o/ Might bring it by tomorrow.
Oh and yes I cooked. lol But not turkey lasagna. A sista is past broke (until Thursday woo hoo!). I made turkey breasts on the Foreman, rice and broccoli. He'd already had General Tso's and was too full to finish his dinner. I just wasn't that hungry. So neither of us ate too much. But it was edible!!! lol And pretty healthy. Not great. Actually I've made better, but eh. I tried. Next time I'm hoping to make the lasagna. That should be good.... ??
Have I mentioned that Munchie (Q's little sister) will be working at my job? Notice how I said "will be." Munch is determined. She's already calling me about it and she turns 18 4 days after my b-day. *ahem* I'm registered at Tiffany's, Macy's, Van Cleef & Arpels and Bergdoff Goodman, folks. LOL Chains was like I need to start working on your b-day now to give myself enough time to forget it and remember it again. lol Anyhoo, yeah if Munchie stays at my job for 3 months I get a $50 finder's fee. I think she'll make it. Long as she don't act a fool. I was telling Chane about her. She came up as he was talking about Harry's Hairy Triangle. One guess as to what kind of establishment that is. lol He gave me this "I KNOW YOU ain't work there" look. I'm like hey don't look at me. It was them. I'm a good girl.
