No, I'm usually the one getting ditched over these things. Most recently, an LJ friend ditched me at the behest of her fiance and mommy, who don't want her thinking for herself. She's the uber-conservative Christian, and I don't curb my enthusiasm very well. I'm not going to censor myself or my journal so someone else can feel comfortable and unquestioned in their beliefs. If I have an opinion, I will share it with someone. Especially if they leave the comments turned on for the post. It's often the inability of others who are too easily offended by a dissenting thought that walk away. If I ask a question, and you can't answer it because you don't have the opinion of someone else to regurgitate at that moment, does it become my fault that I've offended you?
