Huge change is coming...

Doing my last oncall as a KKM MO tonight.

Feeling sad but happy as I bid my byes to my long time staff, MAs, PPK and nurses also my close colleagues and bosses.

I am a bit scared of what awaits me as I make this journey back home to KL. This time, I am coming back to be a internal med lecturer trainee also a fiancee (very soon) to my special somebody. :D Two new roles I need to fit in. Hopefully I can rise up to the challenge.

For those who did not know what's going on.. well.. I am leaving my work as a U41 KKM medical officer as I was offered to be a trainee lecturer in a now (infamous) university that is renowned for its racial exclusivity *cough*cough* I actually did not place high hopes in getting it *the dean was my ex dean back in UKM and he had me over a very short interview.. so short that I doubt he would pick me. But he did and I am thankful.

I applied the same post at my old uni but did not get in. A surgery registrar from UKM who were doing their posting in my hospital remarked it'll take 'great connections' to secure a place as trainee in my old uni - a fact that I am not surprised *sad huh...*

I hate the fact that i resorted to entering SLAB rather than through the usual KKM selections.I always think SLAB is not a fair playing field as I am practically using my racial card to get so called easy seats to do Masters despite the fact I am well qualified to get through on my own. But as I painfully discovered how biased and how looooong the KKM selection would take and it would mean that I may need to work a few years more in Pahang (a fate I did not want). The more years I stay in Pahang - more years we need to wait until we can get married so I decided to leave my fate to chance and applied anyway. Not regretting one bit (to date)

It is a good opportunity - you get a Masters seat as a trainee lecturer at the uni of your choice *hopefully* under the uni scholarship, a much better salary grade and allowances. In exchange -- you are bonded to the university which is to me it is not too bad *since i still have 7 years to go for my JPA bond whose contract is now transferred to the uni*

I am going to miss here.. but I know a lot of my frenz in KL are overjoyed that I am coming back... *food outings ppl!!!!* Ohanaya-san is very very happy *hugzzz beloved*. My parents kinda uneasy - Dad: YOU QUITTING KKM???!!!!! *tsu gets an earful**

So wish me luck.. :D

** I bet you guys thought I was going to talk about Obama.. hehehehe... America got change, you think Malaysia no change ka?? hehehehehe..

I am starting my Masters and need to scrimp more money for wedding and the new house soon.. so ppl that may mean less cosplays *I hope not but it is inevitable*

plans like the Code Geass ones in full swing but I am putting a stop on any new projects until further notice.. :D

cosplay, medical
