[Art] More Gender-bending

I'm not as happy with the outcome this time, because something's wrong with the anatomy on this one... by the time I noticed, I'd already inked the pic, and there was no going back...

Still, I don't think Beetle turned out too badly. I tried to give Teddy Kord a little more junk in the trunk to mimic Ted's body type, but I'm not sure how well it turned out.

Ah well... whatever happens, I will always like those stupid little arm-sock/glove combinations. So useless, yet so amusing to draw X3

What other inane commentary do I have to add? Not much. The spear's just there because Teddy had to have some sort of weapon, and ... I couldn't bring myself to draw that blinky-light-hair-dryer-gun-thing. It was very dorky. Spears, however, are ubiquitously accepted as cool weapon things. I figure it'd also be more useful for someone who's doing a lot of blitzing from the sky, rather than taking part in hand-to-hand combat. (Teddy's an awesome aerial acrobat.)

...

Also, those areas that are shaded with lines... they were originally skin. I thought it looked really, really cool, but then I realised that she'd essentially be wearing ass-less pants, which is sorta sexy, but not really functional when you're a superhero with no powers of invulnerability. Thus, it's patches of flexible wire netting over spandex. A similar netting's over her head, thus how the mask stays up. It's bulletproof, and it lets her hair through because Teddy hates cowl-head, but doesn't want to deal with head wounds.

Apparently Teddy has slightly different priorities than Ted =D;
