Blech. I miss playing the Sims 2, but my computer just won't run it anymore. It's not the same, playing on the PS2 or the GC, what with all the restrictions and such.

I was doing good with FF9, but my Playstation decided to freeze just as I was saving, after I got out of the... whatsit... Forbidden Forest? Evil Forest? Whatever. The place where Blank gets petrified. The last time I'd saved was just before the fight to save the princess, so it wasn't like I lost much of my game, but when I tried to start it back up, the PS2 wouldn't read the disc.

So, instead, I started up Animal Crossing, which bored me really fast. Apparently, that one only holds an appeal for so long. I like Harvest Moon and the Sims better, since I can go through ten, twelve, even twenty game days in a few hours, whereas Animal Crossing forces me to either wait or save and reset the clock in my GameCube in order to move on to the next day.

I wish I knew where Frequency was, because that would be a good time killer. I could always start up Jak II, since I bought it back in March and haven't even opened it yet. I probably should've started out with the first one, but I played most of it a few years ago with Jake and Ben when I was babysitting them after school.

What else... My father and I have finally come to a sort of agreement. He agreed to quit picking on me if I agreed to stop snapping at him. We've lasted a whole day so far, so I'd say we're doing pretty good.

I'm still looking for a job. I've applied for two receptionist positions, both at vet offices, and tried calling on two other receptionist jobs for a realtor's office and a physical therapy clinic. I couldn't get through to either of those, though, and neither mentioned in their ads where they were.

Other than that, there really hasn't been much to apply for. The Valley Hotel is hiring waitresses, but from what I've heard from people who've worked there, I really wouldn't like it. Also, the restaurant that Jason worked at for a week or two is hiring dishwashers, but considering how shitty it was when he worked there, I doubt I'm going to go out of my way to apply for that one.

Apparently Vagabond Blues was hiring baristas, but I didn't hear anything about it. I only found out because Jason and I were in there, yesterday, when they were training a new girl. My father was also pushing for me to apply at the First National Bank, but I'm just really not into being a teller.

I dunno... maybe I'll restart FFX.
