WHAT: Yukino decided she was finally going to try that cooking class, so she gathered up the people she had mentioned it to before and took them back to her place to cook!

Sora peered at everything on the counter, eyes going from one ingredient to the other, then to Yukino, then to another ingredient, then to Laharl and the others in the room. He never cooked much, honestly. He tended to rely on whatever was ready-made, like cereal... Toast on occasion, but toast was simple enough to cook (and even then his still tended on the burnt side).

He tilted his head slightly, then managed a smile at Yukino's suggestion. "Pancakes sounds good to me~"

She watched his eyes glancing over the ingredients and wondered what she had gotten herself into. Mixing the ingredients might get a little messy, but it shouldn't be too bad. She was sure Sora and the others could definitely handle that. She ignored the image of Fou tossing flour everywhere in her mind and slid up to the counter. "Don't worry! It's easy until you have to flip them~!"

Laharl leaned against the counter to one side, more or less out of the way, arms folded. Probably he could have found better things to do with his time than watch these idiots cook, but it meant free food and that wasn't something he was about to pass up. "You better not screw it up, brat," was his contribution.

Yukino shushed Laharl and wagged a finger. "He'll do fine! Don't make him nervous!" Well, more nervous. She was sure Sora was fidgeting around, wondering what he was even supposed to be doing.

"Now, let's get everything we need in one place. Flour, milk, eggs..."

Fou sighed, leaning against the counter and making absolutely no move to help, a scowl firmly in place. She didn't want to be here, and if Miyazawa thought the tiny guardian was about to go along with this cooking crap easily, she had another thing coming.

"If it's easy to make them, then why'd you have to drag so many people to this thing?"

"Because it's always funner to cook with friends~" Yukino smiled at her and began to pull out measuring cups and other utensils. "And since you owed me, I figured this was better than something else boring, like paperwork."

"At least with paperwork I'd get to keep my goddamn pride," Fou grumbled, eying the cooking utensils with distaste. No need to mention that her handwriting left some to be desired.
