[Although Chev had promised that he'd work on his anger management issues and try not to beat people up quite so much, he's just discovered that Johanna is gone. And that calls for some serious freak outs

[ Shiro's passing along close by, his hands held behind his back as usual. He turns his head upon hearing some sort of grisly beating: this man is all too familiar with distinguishing the sound a jawbone makes when its broken by blunt force.
He picks up his pace to a jog, approaching this man: recognizing him well. He stops a few feet away, giving some space to avoid any punch which could be thrown. ]
[Chev is in some sort of altered state, eyes glazed over, fists moving almost mechanically. There's a gun laying by his side, but he seems to prefer to punch rather than shoot the guard and have done with it. So he doesn't notice when he's being spoken to, and continues his attack]
[ Shiro takes a few quick glances around to observe their surroundings. It seemed like nobody else witnessed this act of violence. Cautiously, he takes a few steps forward. ]
Enough! You're beating a corpse!
[ He makes an attempt to stop Chev from throwing another punch, moving to pull him away. ]
[Normally Russell would be all for Chev working out his anger by beating the shit out of a guard or two. So when he sees Chev whaling the fuck out of a guard, he really only heads over to see if he can help. But this time, something's wrong, he can feel it before he gets close enough to see the tears that are flowing down his face. And that's beside the fact that there's definitely a look to that guard that he's all too familiar with...]
[He's just going to keep beating on the guard, completely unaware of anyone around him. He's in that altered state he gets in when he fights, where nothing else even enters his consciousness. So he keeps at it, fists flying, but unusually quiet for him. Usually he'd be shouting curses and threats, but not now. And he's not threatening the guard with any weapon, either, although a shotgun lays at his side and a pistol is clearly visible on his belt]
[This is bad. Really, really bad. Russell doesn't like the way that guard looks, or the way that Chev is in his own world, which isn't too odd, but the combination is worrisome.]
Chev!
[He's pretty sure that the guard is done for, but he still has to get Chev away from him, get him somewhere and get him calmed the fuck down. He's pretty sure it isn't a good idea, but he gets behind Chev and hauls him bodily off the guard]
[And that just pisses Chev off. He starts flailing, fists flying wildly. He's not consciously trying to beat Russell up, but he doesn't know who's grabbing him, and his instinct is to fight]
