[His eyes are wide at this point but he's not going to fight that hug, no way.]

Like crazy! Where have you been?

Saving the world from Davy Jones...which was no easy task mind you.

[He's soaked from head to toe but that doesn't seem to bother him in the least and he smells of the sea which is his domain.]

What has been the goings on in this otherwise desolate place called Veles? I see the scenery hasn't changed much.

[She thinks for a minute]

A lot. Zombie invasions, explorations in the tunnels, and someone blew up one of the guard towers last night.

[He breaks from the embrace and puts his hand on his hip with the other waving above his head.]

I leave you alone for a moment and the whole world goes to pot!

[Then he smiles.]

Are the guards mad as hornets?

Oh, they're furious.

[She snaps her fingers]

That also reminds me. Someone poisoned some of them. Which is how...

[She pulls out a rather nice automatic pistol]

I got this gun.

[He grins and grabs her arm with a very mischievous grin before leaning in to whisper.]

Happen to know who did the poisoning?

I do, and I think you can guess.

[She's not about to say anything where the guards might hear it, though]

Anyway, that's what's been going on. And you've been saving the world, back home? Busy man.

[He wrinkles his nose and sways.]

Well, help is always good.

[She looks at him curiously]

But you remember everything from your time here?

[9th_pirate_lord]

[He looks around with his eyes first then decides it's better to get out of earshot of anyone around.]

I remember names, faces and places but not the events that surround them.

[Which is a lie. He remembers everything since he went forward in time and not backward.]

[She nods]

A lot of people come back having forgotten everything. I'm glad you didn't.

[He gives a flash smile and looks back at the apartment with a sigh.]

Someone has my old room. Pity. I kinda miss my old hammock.

Yeah, I guess they do. Where're you going to be living now?
