[Now that the fright of zombies seems to be lessening, other things can be addressed again. Giselle is sitting back at First In, Last Out, where she and Sheldon had their date, with a glass of wine and a slightly dejected expression. It's not a very mature sort of look, either. Slighty pouty, one could say

In a table not far from where he entered, he sees Giselle but her expression seems long and nearly in distress.]
My intuitive sense of the female creature informs me that you are...troubled.
[He says with a smile in hopes that he can find out what's going on.]

I'm not sure that I understand what you're saying.

It means, deary, that you seem...a bit down. Perhaps I can help you put those troubled thoughts behind you and set you on your way to better waters.

You talk very nicely, though~ I'm Giselle.

A pleasure to meet you. I am Captain Jack Sparrow and now since we have the introductions taken care of so they don't come back to bite us later, perhaps now you can tell Captain Jack all about what's bothering your pretty little mind, love.
[At first, he's actually thinking he's got a chance.]

Well, I don't think that I've ever met a Captain before. It's very nice to see you, Mr. Sparrow. And, well...
[She hesitates, for a moment, running the tip of her finger around the ri of her glass.]
I've argued with Sheldon, um, with my boyfriend, and I'm really not sure what to do. So I came here to think for a while.

[Suddenly interested with a raise to his brow.]
And you think this argument would end your relationship?
[He slides his chair up a bit closer to the table to lean forward a bit closer.]
Love, for every argument there is to be had in this world, there are more than several reasons to return to the loving arms of your Sheldon. Why someone would name their child a town in a valley is beyond me...but hey, to each their own and I am the last one to judge on such things.
Still, if you wish to return to your dear town...you first have to make a journey yourself.

I suppose that's... what I've been trying to do since I've been in Veles. In a way.

[Jack grins and hits another issue.]
Does this argument entail a certain little thing called love?

I... well, it's a little complicated, I think. There's just so much I still don't seem to know about this world.

Love, the mechanics of anything requires a bit of study and learning as one goes along. Otherwise, one becomes the thing that another would dread the most. Think about it, if you let him get away, you would never learn what makes the man tick in his tock. The very thing that makes the man is the very thing that builds him and those around him.
Should there be any complication it is simply because it is built that way. Like a wall for example. One man builds his of paper and it is easily torn down. Another builds his of brick it appears sturdy only to be easily destroyed by cannon. Now the third may have learned by watching the other two and discovered that more than one material need be used to make a stronger wall hence his adaptation in learning how to make his invincible.
Is your man this kind of thinker or is he the man that makes one thing the same way every time?

I... have no idea what you're talking about now.

[And with that, he sits up and now looks confused himself.]

Sorry. I shouldn't be-- [Stifling another giggle.] --laughing...

You may kill but you can never insult me. I'm Captain Jack Sparrow and the only one that will probably never have a hurt feeling a day in his life.
[A slight pause and a shudder.]
Unless you become a certain distressing damsel in which I see you will not be her which is good for me.
[His grin returns.]

[She's not even sure of what she's agreeing not to do, but she certainly seems to have been cheered up.]
So, tell me about being a Captain. What's your ship like?
