-=Marching through the snow in poorly fitted clothing, shivering hard and going off in German=-
I don't remember dying. Damn it! I hate this city.-=Falls into sullen silence until he reaches Midgard, where he stops for a while, looking up at the building. A fit of coughing comes, leading to hunched shoulders and heavy breathing. Fingers wipe at

[Slows down, watching for a little before sneakily walking over and getting a closer look.] You don't look so good... Maybe you should get dry and warm up?

Ahh...excuse me.
-=Colours slightly=-
I have just had a walk. I...ahh...will be fine.

[No need to exaggerate, Trance.]

-=offers her a confused look=-
You speak of Nietzsche, ja?
Reply
[Starts to nod, but then shakes head.] Homo Sapiens Invictus. Humans altered to a new race, based off of Nietzsche's work. Very strong, and immune to many poisons and diseases.
[Ai. Poor Alfons]

-=frowns at her=-
You...ahh.
-=frown gets deeper=-
You are blue.
Reply
[Starts to smile, and waves tail to tap at Alfons' shoulder] Purple, really, with a tail. It's how I am. [Offers hand for a shake] My name is Trance.

-=slow blink, followed by a surprised backwards jump at the tail-tap=-
Ahh. I...ahh. Ahh.
-=slow swallow; still shivering a little=-
You must be...ahh. New. Ja?
Reply
[Notices the shiver, and hand that was offers goes to rest at his back.] Let's get you inside, hm? I suppose I'm new, still. It's been about a month at this point, I think. You're not new?
Maybe it's an Elric thing.

-=Cold or not, voice picks up a little=-
Are you a Martian?
-=doesn't seem inclined to move inside yet; far too distracted now=-
Did you see Earth before here? You flew, ja? Met humans?
-=Energy drops at that name...that might have even been a wince=-

I'm from much farther away from Mars, and from... Thousands of years, perhaps? In the future from your time, most likely. Earth met the rest of the universe a while back, from the time I came from. Most of us fly through space just like... Carriages? Bikes? Cars? I'm not sure which are more common in your time.
[Smiles] Actually, most of my best friends are humans.
[Did catch that possible wince, though.] Ah... I said something that wasn't nice, didn't I? Sorry...

Nein. Ahh. I am not an Elric.
-=Awkward pause=-
Ahh. You have rocket ships? How far away? Jupiter? Saturn?
-=A very expectant breath=-
Another star? I...I do not know names in English for them. Ahh. At the library, there are books with pictures. How do you get out of gravity? Ahh, it is...
-=Closes eyes=- 11 kilometers per second, ja? To rise from a world like Earth? What fuel?

Well, there's several systems, and there are countless stars to reach and visit the ones that have a system around them. Harper would have been able to explain it better. He's the mechanic back on the Andromeda; The ship that I lived on. I can try to answer, though...
[And thus comes the sneaky bit.] In fact, I could answer all of your questions, while you get in to something dry. I'm not going to let someone's health get worse, when it could be prevented. Deal?
I'll even stand outside your bedroom and answer while you're changing.

Ahh.
-=Shuffles his feet and looks at the ground=-
I may not have anything else to wear. My room assignment is new, ja?

I think you'll really like hearing the change in fuel and energy sources, too...
