/then the bullet tears through her forehead. Her eyes are wide, vacant, not understanding what's just happened. Then nothingness. Her body falls slack against the red stain that was once the back of her skull on the wall, and slumps to the ground. The rat scurries over her foot and out of the alleyway./

/the back of her skull's pretty well gone, though from the front all you see is one neat, clean bullet hole. It was a good shot. She probably didn't feel anything. Her eyes are stuck lifelessly open, and as her hands unclenched a small makeshift weapon made out of a bit of broken mirror was in one hand. No blood on it though-- she hadn't been able to make herself use it/
