[He frowns for a second, then shakes his head - didn't mean to frighten the woman.]

... Rabbits? [head tilts] What... what's a rabbit?

-=tries out a smile, she didn't want him to think she was afraid, she just hadn't been expecting to see him=-

You don't know what a rabbit is? Well, usually they're small with long ears and long back legs... and they hop. But the ones that got loose are much bigger. -=holds her hands out to show how big they are=-

[He's more used to people staring at him than smiling at him...]

No, I've... never seen one before. They're some... animal from Earth, right? [A pause.] A large animal, apparently.

-=she's lived with odder, just furry instead of.... whatever sort of skin that is=-

Well they are from Earth, but they're usually much smaller. -=holds her hands out to demonstrate=- I think these are just bred to be much bigger.

[They're scales, and cartilage plates. He's picking at the former, on the back of his neck.]

I guess that makes sense... the large the animal, the more it can provide...

-=nods in agreement=-

It's actually a rather good idea, rabbits don't require special food the way cows and chickens would and they don't require much space for their size either.

-=holds out her hand=-

May I see your ID Garrus?

... [Awkward silence] I'm... not exactly familiar with... those animals... either.

[His face twitches.]

Sure... here.

Well trust me, they're a lot more work than rabbits, even fifty pounders.

Thank you.

No ma'am. I don't. I'm sorry...

[Holds it so she can see the reduction to the "meat product"]

Are they all like this?

Let me check.

*flips through a couple of the books and makes a face*

Looks like it. I'm not sure why they would do that except... *thinks* It must be because of the rabbits escaping. Hopefully next week it will be back to normal. And the rabbits are worth ten credits a piece, so you should be able to make the difference up rather easily.
