Rations, Sat. August 4th, 1952

Today is August fourth, 1952. For those of you who aren't aware, this is Rations Allocation Day. During this time, all Gate Walkers are to report to Victory Square to obtain their Rations booklets. If you do not obtain your rations book, then you will not eat. Unless you want to dine at the cafeteria. *Have a smug expression, there* Or you have a job that will actually allow you to afford food on your own. That is, after you've purchased cooking and eating equipment.
On August Seventh, the Temple will be opening its doors to the public for services. This is an open service for all Gate Walkers to commemorate the Flux. The service begins at six in the evening. It is recommended that all faithful citizens attend this service with tribute.
On August sixteenth, a ball will be held at the Cid's workshop warehouse, beginning at nineteen hundred hours. Suitable escorts and formal attire are required. If you are incapable of finding an escort by the thirteenth, one will be appointed to you. To assist the fashion senseless, a special sale will be held in the market square on the eighth so that you can at least see what good, practical taste is supposed to be. No doubt, you fail in that simple task, anyway.
In addition, the curfew will be extended two hours for the event. If this priveledge is abused, there will be dire consequences.
