RATIONS- June 5, 1952

-=another box sits on the table where he will be sitting, one that has a giant cone apparatus sticking out of it. Hello, ladies and gents to the ancient phonograph with a crank on the side.(Record player for you slightly younger folks)=-
-=starts cranking a bit before pulling out his trusty bull horn.=-
HELLO AND GOOD MORNING, CITIZENS OF VELES!
I'll be quick, mostly since time is of the essence, here. -=crank crank=- Considering we're having a bit of a.. uh...crisis and trying to put everything back together, allow me to recap the most recent events.
-=In the background, you have that odd hiss with a catch in it every so often=-
The Gate has been throwing a bunch of crap at us and we don't know why!!
Then... MONSTERS came forth from the heavens, nearly destroying us all!!!
The natives think we did it! Can you believe that rot? WE don't pray to the Gate! Tried to get you to do it to figure it out, but did you listen to me? noooooooooo Tried that and it sank like a stone. You guys are NO FUN.
Anywhoo, -=Cranking sound stops, but that hissing continues=- It seems that the monsters have gone, which is good. But there's lot of clean up. If you're seeking medical attention, please see the clinic. There's no need to visit the hospital, they're over taxed as it is. And keep under the radar, will ya?
The guards are beyond high alert---

So please do not do anything to antagonize them. We all must work together, especially since many of the buildings are in danger of collapsing.

Another note of urgency here. The jail was severely damaged in the fighting, and any who where there have escaped. Meaning not only are our folks free, but criminals and murders are out rampaging the streets! Please be careful! Please alert the authorities to any suspicious activities you may bear witness to.
