May 19th, 1952, Rations Allocation Day
HELLO AND GOOD MORNING, CITIZENS OF VELES!
It is Saturday, May 19th in the lovely and beautiful year of 1952! Before we get into the formalities, let us begin with the news...
There has been a recent publication from our wonderful newspaper about the new threats that are surrounding our city. Granted, these new forms of zombies are disturbing, but as long as our city wall is strong, we have nothing to worry about! In addition, our wonderful military is always in search of brave fighters willing to defend house and home from these terrible creatures! If you are in search of work, please report to Tower Four for applications.
In other words, enjoy the peace while we have it, okay?
As for the weather... it's definitely getting warmer! And nice to see some color out there other than grey, eh? Well, I'm sure they'll be more impromptu shows happening around here now that our talented folk don't have to worry about mud, so much. But we also have an increase in wind storms, so please be cautious about falling debris! Yeah, debris. A good gust of wind can blow out windows, especially those in abandoned buildings.
So don't go snooping around in the restricted areas, all right? -=snorts=- Don't want anyone to loose a head or something should something fall on ya. But if you get any really cool souveneirs, I wanna see!
Oh oh! Also a new thing.. If anyone has any birthdays coming up, let me know! We need to wish people happy birthday and make them cake! Lots of cake. Yes. Chocolate cake.
Any other announcements? No. Don't think so. No up and coming things, either.
Anyone who carries an Identification bracelet should be reporting to the rations line today. Though the food's not great, but really, it's better than cafeteria food out there. And if you don't think you need a rations book, you can always use it for barter! Why I know some people who use it like money out there! So if you need it or not, it's important. Get it. I want to say hi to you! Get to know you, learn what your sign is. Find out your favorite foods, what you like to do in your spare time...
O-oh! Right! Rations.. Uh... No one got me a partner, so...who want's to sit next to me and go over long, boring monologues about ration books and how they need to be used? Any takers? Anyone? Any?

Well, Rations will be held at Victory square between the hours of 10 am and 10 pm. Be there or STARVE!

Your Rations providers today are Maes and Leo maybe! It's a sudden and impromptu thing and Jill has my permission to god mod Maes a bit if she can sneak on with her plan and I'm not around (not home today till after 1 pm est) And be aware that the Guards will be watching you. Feel free to mix it up, cause trouble, but know that they will come and stop it, and not be nice about it. <3 Oh, and do keep an eye out for shenanigans...
