The World's Largest Particle Accelerator Complex!
So is no one worried about the Large Hadron Collider being flipped on tomorrow, thus beginning the series of high-energy collision experiments?
"Concerns have been raised (including two legal challenges) regarding the safety of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) on the grounds that high-energy particle collisions performed in the LHC might produce dangerous phenomena, including micro black holes, strangelets, vacuum bubbles and magnetic monopoles."
Yeah...that sounds dangerous to me. Unless it will mean we'll be able to teleport when all is said and done. Then I am all for it.
