A birthday for the birds!
Thank you to all of you who posted very lovely, very funny, very moving and very thoughtful posts in honor of my birthday yesterday. And also thank you to everyone who left me comments filled with well-wishes and for thinking of me.
I spent the bulk of my birthday working on my research project, partially on campus. My evening peaked when I went to my Research Methods class only to realize it had been cancelled at the last minute due to professor being stuck in hideous accident traffic. My love and thanks to celluloidlout for being one of a handful of classmates who decided to make lemonade out of..well, lemonade.. and take me for drinks at the Heartland Brewery. A far better way to spend Monday evening, I say. It was a good time and possibly the first time I really hung out with a group of graduate classmates in a non-academic social setting.
This morning 2bq helped me shoot some bald eagles and a few other birds, and I feel just about ready to begin editing my doc. Wish me luck.
