Ok, so I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to graduate training on time, because at the end of the third week in OCP (On Call Practice), we have to have an average handle time of 225 seconds, roughly 3.5 minutes. For the past couple of days, my average time was 215. After today, though, it went up to 232! *weeps* That means I have to bring my time down by seven seconds in the next couple of days if I wanna go to the real deal once training is over. Otherwise I get held back an extra week.
Oh, and I just wanna say that I don't necessarily hate my job. In fact, it's really not all that bad. I just like to vent about the people who seem to be able to sign their names on the card member agreements without actually being able to read.
By the way, when people call in and say, "I always pay my account on time and in full, I want that fee waived," those fees aren't getting waived. Why? They're what we call "Non-Profitable". Paying in full each month means that they don't get finance charges, and we're loosing money on them. So any fees they get aren't going to be waived for any reason whatsoever. And their credit score probably sucks too. What's funny is somehow, they think they're our best customers. At least we can offer to close their accounts!
Who are our best customers? The ones with $25,000 limits, $20,000 balances and paying finance charges each month for a year or two, and paying on time.
