I officially miss LJ.
Tired of twitter and facebook. Oh-so-very tired.
I miss the days when those did not exist.
Sad news: three weeks ago, Eugene the cat passed away. He was not suffering, disabled (mentally or physically), he was just old and tired. He got to choose his time and place to go, which is the very best any of us can hope for in the end. I miss him terribly, but the grieving process *has* been an unexpected means through which Chico and I have been able to grow together as a couple. Prudence was lost and despondent without him for the first little while, but has been getting better every day since.
Good news: we moved! Still in Toronto, but in the Junction now. Funky, awesome neighborhood -- featuring the cafe Crema, with the best coffee I have had outside of Seattle! Yum! We did not have internet at the new place for the first couple of days. Good excuse to gank their free wireless. I almost wish we still did not have internet so I'd still have an excuse to go there. Budget is tight this month what with moving and everything, so I have to moderate my out-of-house coffee intake. We also an awesome local and organic market, The Sweet Potato, that has really great prices and quality. It's only a couple of blocks away, too. Loving this area!
Okay, off for now. Maybe I'll, I dunno, start to read my flist and update here more than once in a blue moon? ;)
