TOTAL: 63 books

Not a great year for poetry or drama, esp compared to past years when I've read tons of amazing poetry and drama. I'm sure having no classes this past semester didn't help with that.

Lots of good YA stuff, tho -- my favorite kind of escapism. Good comics, too. All the stuff I've given a "5" to I loved so much I wanted to explode. And in general, lots of enjoyable stuff up there. Tho, yes, escapism seems to be a major theme, b/c I haven't got too much that's really heavy, esp not in fiction. Some weighty, sad graphic novels, tho.

Based on what I like, any book recommendations for me? You may take this list as my recommendations to you, but if anyone wants to talk more specifically about works, I'm happy to!

O yah: I've only included books I've read in their entirety, and obvs this list doesn't include any scholarly articles, individual poems, Cliff's Notes, internet reading, or books I only skimmed or read chunks of.
