a much calmer weekend
Again, my weekend started on Thursday . . . and boy did it ever get started! I played some poker and drank sufficient amounts of rum. YUM!! I even did all right at poker. . .it is beginning to make a bit more sense now-even if i still have no clue how to bet! That was a good night, a little too short, but it was good.
Friday was a hockey game. It was the first time in 4 years that I was sitting in the stands watching from the outside. It was pretty weird. I missed it, but not enough to want to go back. The team that i miss isn't really there anymore-only the remnants. The game was fun anyways; a bunch of us went together! They were hilarious!
Saturday was a football day. Josh wasn't going to be around so I hung out with the guys. . .well, mostly Kenny. I had a blast. Unfortunately, there weren't that many people tailgating, so it was VERY different from last weekend. We lost the game with like 30 sec left of the game . . . it was a bummer! This meant that it was time for some alcohol to take the edge off the loss. So, we caught up with Josh. We didn't drink much, everyone was pretty well beat . . . we called it a night pretty early.
Today was my absolute lazy day. I cleaned up, finished up homework and thought about some stuff. I couldn't have been too lazy . . . I did print off a grad school application!! It's a step in the right direction!
